I must say, my entire experience with you, and your staff, from the first consultation to recovery, was excellent! Your patience and willingness to answer every question, and address every concern, definitely put me at ease (never rushed our appointments as most doctors tend to do.) Not only am I EXTREMELY happy with the work you did, but I was most impressed with your bedside manner (calling after I was home from surgery to check on me isn’t typical protocol for most doctors, as they usually have a staff member do it). So, all that being said, I will definitely travel down to Cincinnati if/when I decide to have another procedure! Thank you SO very much again!
I had visited a couple different surgery centers and none were as kind and caring and knowlegeable as this. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. Dr. Vennemeyer is very honest, which was not lost on me. I am very happy I chose this surgery center and doctor.
From the very first phone call with Cindy, I felt very informed and comfortable. Dr. Vennemeyer was excellent. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed each one until I was satisfied with my decisions. He was spot on when describing how I would feel following the surgery. Initially, I was extremely nervous about having the procedure, especially the general anesthetic. By the time I arrived for surgery, I really did not feel anxious. everyone was extremely nice, helpful and made me feel very comfortable with everything. Dr. Michael Vennemeyer is my recommendation for your surgery. He is a wonderful doctor. I truly don’t think I know a better Plastic Surgeon, or even, a more compassionate doctor than he. He really is one in a million and I highly recommend him.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, I found myself entrusting my reconstruction to Dr. Vennemeyer after interviewing 2 other prominent plastic surgeons. From the first consult… I knew he was the one who would help me through this journey. Dr. V’s encouraging words and expertise continued during the post-op process. I couldn’t have found a better plastic surgeon. His work is phenomenal–my new reconstructed breast looks amazing. Of course, my husband and I are pleased, but even my other physicians have complimented his work on me! Not only is Dr Vennemeyer an amazingly skilled plastic surgeon, his bedside manner is a breath of fresh air; I never felt rushed and sensed he genuinely cared about me and each of his patients. My office visits were always uplifting as he has this wonderful, thoughtful habit of sitting down, talking at eye level, and sincerely asking me how I was doing before beginning with any exams or procedures. This same warmth was displayed before each surgery where he would calmly reassure and encourage me as well as my husband as I lay on the gurney. Dr. Vennemeyer helped ease a very difficult time for me. I thank him for his dedication and skill and years of study. Because of him, my mastectomy and reconstruction were something I could face–I knew I had not only a fine surgeon but a friend cheering me on.
